Integrated
Water Purification Systems typically include all pre and
post treatment, ancillary and supporting equipment, as interconnected
subsystems. These systems are
custom-built
to the clients' requirements and may be multiple train. Such systems are characterized by larger capacities; 500 m3/day (132,100
gpd) or more for Seawater plants, and 1,000 m3/day (264,200
gpd) or more for Brackish water plants. The integrated systems are
used for large Desalination or
Municipal Water supply, and/or fall under special applications, such as Ultrapure Water
Systems, Industrial, Reuse and Recycling Systems. These integrated systems are designed to operate typically
at an average recovery of 30-45% for Seawater units and 50-85% for Brackish Water
units, depending on feed water chemistry and plant capacity. Plant subsystems may be skid mounted to minimize hook-up and
installation time. |

Seawater
Desalination Systems |
|
Value engineered and optimized systems. Single or Multiple-Train Seawater Desalination
plants. Fully integrated and
built to customer's specifications. The system includes all
Pretreatment, Post Treatment, Auxiliary and Supporting Equipment.
Capacities range from 500 to 2,000 m3/day
(92 - 367 gpm) per train. Permeate Recovery ranges from 30
to 45%. |

Brackish
Water Systems |
|
Value engineered and optimized systems. Single or Multiple-Train Brackish Water
Treatment plants. Fully integrated and
built to customer's specifications. The system includes all
Pretreatment, Post Treatment, Auxiliary and Supporting Equipment.
Capacities range from 1,000 to 4,000 m3/day (184 - 734 gpm) per train. Permeate Recovery ranges from
50 to 85%. |

Ultrapure
Water Systems |
|
Specialty, integrated sanitary systems designed as Polishing Loops for
production of high purity water by further processing of Reverse Osmosis permeate.
Typical equipment required in the polishing loop include Second Stage RO Systems
(RO), Ion Exchangers (IE),
Electrodeionizers (EDI) and Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems (UV). Custom
designed with capacities and permeate recovery ranges vary. |
