HVAC SYSTEM DESIGN

MSI can help you design your Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) system  for your residence.  MSI shall design your residential HVAC system in accordance with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards and/or per ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) design procedure.

Load and CFM Calculations
Building design heat loss rate and design heat gain rate, shall be determined using a method based on ASHRAE or ACCA Manual J to determine the system requirements:
Perform load calculations
Calculate heat loss and heat gain of each room and total room load
Calculate CFM requirements for each room and total room CFM
Air Distribution System Design

We layout and size air distribution system based on ACCA Manual D:
Prepare air distribution system layout and plan duct paths
Determine registers positions
Optimize room air circulation
Size, locate and optimize returns
System Selection
We size and select the HVAC system based on ACCA Manual S:
Size equipment to sensible loads
Specify and select equipment using available manufacturers' data and guidelines

Heating & Cooling Equipment

MECHANICAL DESIGN

We size and select mechanical equipment for Low Rise Residential structures:
A/C systems (Please refer to HVAC System Design above)
Climate controls
Furnaces
DHW (Domestic Hot Water) equipment
Plumbing
We size plumbing systems for Low Rise Residential structures:
Hot & Cold water supply
Drainage
Layout drawings

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

We provide drafting services for Low Rise Residential structures, using ACAD version 2000:
Room planning
Plot plans including foundation, floor, roof layout drawings
